L'appel -da3wa- au Tawhid -l'unicité d'Allah-

     D’après Ibn 3Abbâs - qu'Allah l'agrée - , le Prophète - ( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui ) - a dit à Mu3adh Ibn Jabal lorsqu’il l’envoya au Yémen : « Tu vas te présenter à un peuple des gens du Livre. La première chose à laquelle tu devras les appeler est attester qu’il n’y a de divinité digne d’adoration qu’Allah

( Lâ ilâha illa Allah ) - dans une autre version :

 « faire l'unicité d'Allah » -. S’ils t’obéissent sur ce point, informe-les qu’Allah leur a rendu obligatoire cinq prières chaque jour et nuit. S’ils t’obéissent sur ce point, informe-les qu’Allah leur a rendu obligatoire une aumône prélevée sur les biens de leurs riches et reversée à leurs pauvres. S’ils t’obéissent sur ce point, ne touche point à leurs biens précieux et crains l’invocation de la victime d’injustice. En effet, il n’y aucun voile entre elle et Allah. » Rapporté par Al Boukahri et Mouslim1.

     Ce hadith est très précieux, il est plein de sagesses, de règles jurisprudentielles et d'enseignements importants. Je les résumerai comme suit :

1. Le premier enseignement : sa parole « lorsqu'il l'envoya au Yémen » : "Al Hafith ibn Hajar" a dit -qu'Allah lui accorde Sa Miséricorde- : Mou3adh a été énvoyé dix ans avant le hajj du Prophète - ( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )-, comme cela est rapporté par Al Boukhari.

"Al Waqidi" a rapporté que cela s'est passé la neuvième année lorsque le Prophète - ( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui ) - a quitté "Tabouk". Et d'autres ont rapporté autre chose que cela. Mais ils se sont tout mis d'accord qu'il n'a cessé de vivre au Yémen jusqu'à ce qu'il se présenta à Abou Bakr -qu'Allah l'agrée- qui l'envoya au "Sham" -région englobant la syrie, liban, palestine, jordanie- où il mourut2.

2. Le deuxième enseignement : sa parole - ( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui ) –

: «  Tu vas te présenter à un peuple des gens du Livre » est le premier conseil qu'il donna à Mou3adh et contient trois leçons :

a-  Le premier leçon: lorsqu'un responsable donne une mission à un subalterne, il doit lui expliquer et lui indiquer ce qui va l'aider à mener à bien cette tâche. D'autant plus si sa mission ressemble à celle de Mou3adh -qu'Allah l'agrée -, tel que ceux qui appellent les gens à l'Islam -da3wa-, ou bien enseigne aux gens, ou bien juge entre eux, ou bien règle leurs problèmes, etc.

b- Le deuxième leçon:  Le Messager d'Allah -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- lui a confié que ces gens étaient des 'gens du livre', c'est-à-dire des juifs et les chrétiens, qui ont besoin qu'on les convainque avec science. Il ne doit donc pas présenter sa da3wa unilatéralement sans s'attendre à ce qu'ils le questionnent car cela n'aboutirait à rien.

c- Le troisième leçon: Enfin le troisième enseignement nécessite qu'on s'y attarde un peu. Le da3i -celui qui appelle à l'Islam- doit agir avec les gens en fonction de leur position sociale et de leur niveau intellectuel. Chacun doit être traité de la manière qui lui sied. Ainsi discourir l'ignorant sera différent du discours à l'instruit. Et nul doute que ceci relève de la sagesse qui lui a été ordonnée d'appliquer dans La Parole d'Allah : « Par la sagesse et la bonne exhortation appelle (les gens) au sentier de ton Seigneur. Et discute avec eux de la meilleure façon ». (Al Nahl -les abeilles-, verset 125).

     Or on remarque que beaucoup de ceux qui font la da3wa, ou ordonne le bien et interdisent le mal, n'utilisent pas la bonne approche, ce qui aboutit malheureusement à très peu de résultat. Si on examine la da3wa du Prophète -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- du début de son message lorsqu'il appelait les Qourashites jusqu'à sa mort, on s'apperçoit qu'elle n'était que sagesse. Certaines fois il discourait en public, d'autres fois en privé, d'autres fois pour corriger une erreur, etc.

     Le manque de sagesse, et prononcer la parole de façon déplacée peut entrainer un effet inverse à celui voulu, comme de faire fuir les gens de l'Islam et des musulmans. La parole est une responsabilité qu'il incombe au locuteur de tenir, et d'user à bon escient pour qu'elle donne les fruits escomptés -avec l'aide d'Allah.

3. Le troisième enseignement : sa parole -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- : «  La première chose à laquelle tu devras les appeler est attester qu’il n’y a de divinité digne d’adoration qu’Allah (Lâ ilâha illa Allah) - dans une autre version : « faire l'unicité d'Allah » regorge d'enseignements :

a- sa parole : «  La première chose à laquelle tu devras les appeler » est une nouvelle méthode de la da3wa, qui consiste à se préoccuper du plus important avant le moins important. Mou3adh -qu'Allah l'agrée- est envoyé à un peuple mécréant, il est donc primordiale dans un premier temps de les faire entre dans l'Islam avant de leur enseigner les obligations de celle-ci. Car si toutes les obligations étaient enseignées en une fois, elles ne seraient pas acceptées car elles sont de par nature lourdes sur les âmes. Ainsi, le Prophète -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- est resté treize ans à Makkah à appeler son peuple au Tawhid et chasser le polythéisme, et rien d'autre. Et tous les Prophètes et Messager avant lui ont utilisé cette méthode et ont prodigué leur enseignement du plus important au moins important.

     Il convient donc à tous ceux qui appellent à l'Islam de commencer par le plus important, sans oublier le point précédent, qui enjoint à agir en fonction des circonstances et des personnes. On ne discourt pas un mécréans comme on discourt un musulman désobéissant, et on ne discourt pas un enfant qui néglige certains préceptes de l'Islam comme on discourt une fille, etc.

b- sa parole : « La première chose à laquelle tu devras les appeler est attester qu’il n’y a de divinité digne d’adoration qu’Allah (Lâ ilâha illa Allah) » a été rapportée avec différentes versions :

« tu devras les appeler a faire l'adoration d'Allah. S’ils t’obéissent sur ce point, informe-les qu’Allah leur a rendu obligatoire cinq prières chaque jour et nuit »

« tu devras les appeler à faire l'unicité d'Allah. S'ils t'obéissent sur ce point...

     Si quelqu'un se demande s'il y a une différence de signification entre les versions, la réponse est donnée par "Al Hafith Ibn Hajar" qui dit : « le sens de 'l'adoration d'Allah' est de faire Son Unicité -tawhid-, en ne témoignant qu'il n'y a de divinité digne d'être adorée qu'Allah, et que Mohammed est Son Prophète et Messager, et de réfuter toute adoration autre que la Sienne. Il n'y a donc pas de contradictions entre les versions. Le sens est donc le même ».

c- le Tawhid est donc la chose la plus importante, il en découle qu'il est nécessaire de débuter par lui et d'y consacrer le plus de temps comme l'a fait le Prophète - ( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- en ancrant la '3aqida' -la croyance- dans le cœur des musulmans, même si les gens les en empéchent, car ils ont certes dans les Prophètes et les Messager -a3layhim assalat wa assalam- un bon exemple.

     Dès que la 3aqida a bien pénétré les cœurs, il est facile d'ordonner le reste des recommandations de l'Islam. Ne vois-tu pas cher frère da3i, que la plus grande partie du Coran est dédiée au Tawhid, que ce soit clairement spécifié comme Sa Parole : « Nous avons envoyé dans chaque communauté un Messager, [pour leur dire]: «Adorez Allah et écartez-vous du Tâgût » (Al Nahl -les abeilles- verset 36).

     Ou que ce soit indirectement au travers de la da3wa et du récit des Prophètes -3alayhim sallam- avec leur peuple, etc. Et en méditant sur la création d'Allah, l'esprit en conclut que Seul son Créateur est digne d'être adorée sans associé. Et tout cela prouve bien l'importance de la 3aqida et de son enracinement dans les cœurs.

     On comprend aussi l'erreur commise par beaucoup de ceux qui appelent à l'Islam délaissant la 3aqida et en se focalisant sur le bon comportement, sur la pénétration sociale et politique, etc, plus qu'ils ne se concentrent sur la 3aqida.

     Toutes les composantes de l'Islam sont importantes, mais la plus considérable est 'la ilaha illa Allah' et il faut porter le plus d'efforts sur ceci.

d- "Cheikh al Islam ibn Taymia" dit : « il est connu sans aucun de doute de la religion du Messager -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- et toutes les communautés se sont mises d'accord pour dire que l'origine de l'Islam et la première chose qu'on ordonne c'est le témoignage 'la ilaha illa Allah et que Mohammed est le Messager d'Allah'. Par ceci, le mécréant devient musulman, l'ennemi un allié, et celui dont le sang et les biens étaient licites deviennent illicites. Si ce témoignage est prononcé du cœur alors il rentre dans la foi, et s'il est seulement un son de la langue sans le cœur alors il est dans l'Islam en apparence sans foi intèrieure. »3

e- sa parole -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )-: « La première chose à laquelle tu devras les appeler est attester 'Lâ ilâha illa Allah' »  est une preuve -comme les savant ont dit- que celui qui ne prononce pas les deux témoignages ne rendre pas dans l'Islam.

     "Cheikh al Islam ibn Taymia" a dit : « toute personne qui peut -il exclut ici les sourds muets- prononcer les deux témoignages et ne le fait pas est mécréant, comme c'est le consensus des musulmans. Et il reste mécréant en apparence et intèrieurement comme l'ont dit les prédécesseurs, et leurs imams, et la plus grande partie de leurs savants ».

f- certains savants ont qu'il est recommandé d'appeler les gens à se convertir à l'Islam avant de leur faire la guerre s'ils refusent de se plier -ne signifie pas se convertir- aux régles régies par l'Islam, comme le Prophète -( Bénédiction et salut soient sur lui )- ordonnait à ses émissaires de faire. Donc tous ceux qui ont déjà été appelés à l'Islam il est recommandé de réitérer cet appel, par contre si l'appel ne leur est jamais parvenu, c'est une obligation de leur présenter l'Islam avant de les combattre s'ils refusent.
